Writing down your goals makes their achievement more likely. Writing them down on a daily basis is even better

DOES THE PHONE CONTROL YOUR TIME
Lesley Bolton, author of Fastread Time Management (Adams Media, 2002) suggests you track your phone usage for a few days, recording who called, length of calls and importance. If your total phone calls are longer than your total working time, take action to reduce them.
JUNK THE JUNK MAIL
The typical executive receives more than 225 pieces of unsolicited mail each month, according to the book, The 60-Second Organizer. The author Jeff Davidson, calculated that the average person spends eight months of his or her life reading junk mail.
RETURNING PHONE CALLS
Unless they're urgent and important, most voice mail messages can be delayed until later in the day when you are least productive.
